About Us
About our team at Sapphire Painting: Written by David Carpenter (Owner)
Sapphire Painting is not a large company but a partnership that includes myself (David), my wife Marilou and 4 full time employees.
I began Sapphire Painting 29 years ago in 1987 with the principle of ‘We Take Pride in Our Work`. Even now with over 32 years’ experience in the painting industry and a growing number of employees this principle still remains fundamental in maintaining high quality work.
My partner Marilou completed her apprenticeship with Sapphire Painting and has been a working team member for over 20 years. Marilou has a sharp eye for design and thoroughly enjoys providing colour consulting services to clients.
Sapphire Paintings Supervisor Chris Smith has been an employee and valuable member for over 20 years as well. Chris is well and truly adapted to Sapphire Painting`s high standard of workmanship and is a very hardworking, honest and loyal team member.
In addition, Sapphire Painting believes in assisting the community and providing employment and learning opportunities for those who are interested. Therefore, Sapphire Painting always has at least one apprentice employed. Currently Sapphire Painting has one apprentice: Cameron is now in his 3rd year and going well.
– Alex is now in his 8th year and very loyal and articulate in his workmanship.
Michael is our newest employee of 3 years now. He is a very experienced tradesman who has adapted to Sapphire`s high workmanship standards. My favorite Cousin Barry is our part timer. Also very good value to our business.
Latest Junior Apprentice is Ryan. He seems keen to participate.
– I would honestly say that we are very happy and grateful to have such a talented team of painters who are always striving to achieve a high standard for our valued clients.
All our team members are trained regularly in ensuring a safe work environment and have all obtained OH& S White Cards as well as hold First Aid Certificates and have undergone Police Checks. Sapphire Painting is also accredited to Rapid Global and are fully insured for public liability and workers compensation.
Obligation to our fellow members:
To encourage the free exchange of knowledge and ideas.
To meet with fellow members and promote all aspects of the code.
